Evaluation of progress

Research and planning

• At this late stage in the project, All research and initial planning is complete. 
• This consists of The Rio Ferdinand short documentary on grief, Charlie Brooker's '2016 Wipe' and the youtube that explains the basics of shooting an interview.
• Moodboards. spider diagrams and mise en scene consideration has been noted.

NOTE: Some blog posts, relating to production of work, will require reviewing over again, as some updates on processes may lack context referring to research. This is vital to show evidence of influence the research has had on the documentary.




Ideas and development

• Evidence of idea development in the use of colour and lighting in still                                                           photographs.
• Mood board, creating visual image of tone tone and concept for the subject matter.
• Spider diagram, showing structural foundation for the film to follow.
• A post on examining the different types of documentary. - This post shows evidence of consideration for own project but lacks detail into exactly what ideas could come to fruition through the different types.
• Update the blog to contain more visual links to ideas, so that ideas can be communicated clearly.
• There has been issues with timing and availability with the councilor for the interview segment. Therefore, the segment may need to be scrapped entirely. Consider incorperating an idea from earlier ideas and development to substitute.

Evaluation and reflection

• Majority of posts contain an evaluative paragraph underneath that reflect on the the post, in relation to the project at whole.
• There are still a minority of posts that require an evaluative paragraph.
• Some existing evaluations in posts may need for detail to be added. An example is the colour palette comparison in photography post,where an extra paragraph was added, to help link back to research and add an explanation as to why the create choice was made.
• An evaluation and reflection post will need to be created after the documentary is complete. This in order to reflect on the project as whole, from an end point, in order to show evidence of progression since the start of the project.
